Hades was the king of dead in ancient Greek stories. Hades <<HAY deez >> was older brother of Zeus, the king of gods. The ancient Greeks believed that the kingdom of Hades was under the Earth. Hades was meant for the souls of people who were not good enough to go to Elysium << ih LIHZ ee uhm >>.

The pyramids have fascinated many people for thousands of years. How did the Ancient Egyptians build these huge monuments and why? The most famous out of the the lot are the three in Giza near modern Cairo. But they are not the only pyramids in Egypt .There are over 80 others in Egypt and another 100 south in Sudan.

We are currently working on a local history project in which we have interviewed an older member of our family and asked them about their school days. We are currently gathering our information and will be posting some of the interesting things we find out on this site.
