Long Long ago, in Nazareth it was a normal day for Mary. She was outside doing her usual chores. Haing baked the bread that morning she walked down to the river to get a pitcher of water and wash some dishes.

As she finished her work she heard a flickerand noticed a bright light in the sky.

Mary turned around and to her amazment she saw a man with gold and white robes and white wings floating towards her in the air, she was terrified. The man spoke to her and gave her some breathtaking news. He told her that she was to have a baby and that the baby aws to be a king! He explained to her that she was to call the baby “Jesus”. She wondered why he left her so quickly and straight away ran to tell Joesph the news. Joseph told her that they had to go to Bethlehem for a census. Mary was not happy with this but she had to go. She went home to get some supplies while Joseph geared up the donkey for the long journey ahead of them.

As they left Mary hoped that the house would be alright when they came arrived back home. Every day was warm and hard to travel but the journey had to go on. After two days Mary began to feel bad so they decided to rest. Mary felt like she was having the baby  so they left but thankfully she didnt as there was several days left in their journey to Bethlehem for the census. Joseph had only been on the donkey twice as Mary was pregnant and could not walk this distance. The next morning they thought they would reach Bethlehem that evening. Mary was sure she was about to have the baby so they had to speed it up a little. At 7 p.m. they reached Bethlehem and even though they were tired they had to find somewhere for Mary to have the child. They went to loads of Inns but there were no rooms left but thankfully a man let them stay in his stable and after a while she had the baby Jesus. The three wise men arrived in the stable on the sixth of  January as they followed the north star from the east and brought Gold, Francicense and Myrrh.

On the 26th the day after Jesus was born a few shepards came and were so happy for the baby Jesus. King Herod Heard about this and decided to kill every newborn at this so they fled to Egypt and after several years they moved back to Nazareth and that is the end of the Christmas story.
